Want to Help?

Action you can take now:

1. Write letters to the local papers.

2. Put a Fort Ord Wild bumper sticker on your car, your recycling cans (they go out to the curb every week) your window, etc.

3. Join us every Saturday (or most every Saturday) at 8th and Gigling to meet and chat before or during a hike (9am most Saturdays, check here.) You can order a Tshirt, pick up bumper stickers and cards you can pass out to your friends.

4. Do you belong to any group who would benefit by a presentation on the developments proposed on Fort Ord? Your quilting bee, school, nonprofit or service club? Call us to schedule, our informative presentations can be compressed or expanded to fit your agenda.

5. Are you a videographer? We’d like to post some interviews you have with people who will tell us why the like Fort Ord the way it is.

6. Follow the agendas of your local cities, esp. if you are in Seaside, Del Rey Oaks, or Marina, show up and speak up if land use issues are on the agenda. Stay tuned to this site for Board of Supervisors meetings where your voice is needed.
